One of the places that I wish to go to after quarantine ends is the Malagos Garden Resort. My husband, children, and I have been frequenting the resort for close to twenty years now and as our family has changed so has the resort. There are all sorts on new amenities now that were not there when we first came to the resort. What has remained unchanged however is the great food and even better service. So here are the best food items from the Malagos food menu that I miss the most and will no doubt order again as soon as soon as I can or if possible, order for delivery.
Pizza – The new wood fired oven at the Koi Café is great for some pizza, with a delicious assortment of different toppings. The pizzas are great for meals or just a snack in between the other food offerings that they have.
Humba – This dish can usually be found in the Coral Pavillion weekend buffet and its one of the most popular dishes there! We usually see multiple refills of the platter since its one of the more popular dishes. What makes this dish so unique is that it incorporates Malagos Chocolate in the sauce making it a one of a kind dish.
Malagos Cheeseburger Cheeseburger – At first glance, the Malagos cheeseburger might seem a little bit plain since the cheese is actually inside the patty! Once you bite into the juicy meat, the oozing cheese coats your tongue in a delicious savoury sensation that you definitely will not want to miss.
Pork Siomai – Another one of their buffet items, the pork siomai is simple yet supremely satisfying, you might not be able to stop at just one plate of these delectable dim sum morsels. The chili garlic sauce that it is paired with is slightly sweet and not too spicy making it suitable for all ages and spice tolerances.
Malagos Garden Surprise – This one is definitely a favourite of my children. A sweet crepe wrapped around a piece of ripe yellow mango drizzled with just a touch of syrup. The slightly sour flavour of the mango compliments the crepe and syrup perfectly, a great way to end a meal.
